Why the Miss Grand Forks Scholarship Organization?

Our organization is the only one in the state to offer complete preparation bootcamps to our local titleholders.

Our bootcamps consist of mock interviews, modeling practice, wardrobe consultation, hair & makeup tutorials, platform development, paperwork revisions, service projects, and so much more.

Miss North Dakota Eligibility

  1. Must be a U.S. citizen

  2. At least 17 years old at the time of local pageant Must be a high school graduate or equivalent by July 31st in the calendar year of the state competition in which she competes and must not be older than 25 years of age as of the last day in the calendar year of the state competition in which she competes(by December 31st). For the avoidance of doubt, a contestant cannot turn 26 years of age at any time during the calendar year in which she competes at state. Also for the avoidance of doubt, 13 to 17 year old high-school graduates, as well as 18 year old non-graduates as of July 31st(the year of state competition), must compete at the MAOTeen level.

  3. Female, never married and never have had children

  4. Legal resident of North Dakota or full-time student in North Dakota at least 6 months prior to local pageant competition

  5. Must maintain the basis for eligibility throughout the local and state competition

Judging Criteria

  • Talent = 40%

  • Private Interview = 25%

  • Evening Wear = 20%

  • On-Stage Questions = 15%

As one of the most competitive local preliminary pageants in North Dakota we want contestants to know that we put in a lot of work to help prepare you to do your best on the Miss North Dakota stage. Therefore we expect those awarded a crown at our local to compete at state. If you choose not to you are required to reimburse our local organization $200 in fees that will have already been paid to send you to state.
